Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Expats Hub (the "Site"), operated by Sync International Moving(the "Company"). By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Expats Hub is an information and matching platform for international relocation. It provides:

• Country guides covering visa, banking, schools, real estate and business setup.
• A directory of relocation service providers.
• Shipping tools (volume calculator, options explanations, estimated quotes).
• A community forum for expats and people planning a move.
• Corporate relocation and HR partner enquiries.

The Site is an information and connection service. Actual relocation, immigration, banking, tax, real estate and shipping services are delivered by third-party providers (or by Sync International Moving for international moving enquiries).

You must be at least 16 years old to submit personal information through the Site. Some features (community posting, provider dashboard) require an account, which is provided through Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or unlawful information through any form.
• Impersonate another person, business or relocation provider.
• Post spam, advertising, scams, malware or content that infringes others' rights.
• Harass, threaten or harm other users in the community forum.
• Attempt to interfere with, scrape or overload the Site or its APIs.
• Use the Site to recruit, solicit or compete with the Company outside of approved provider programs.

We may remove content, suspend accounts and refuse service in our sole discretion to enforce these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Site (including community posts, replies and provider profile content). By submitting content you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, translate and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the Site.

You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you post and that it does not violate the law or third-party rights.

Estimates produced by the shipping quote calculator and other tools are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer. Final pricing depends on confirmed shipment volume, packing list, shipment type, routing, destination charges, service scope and carrier or provider confirmation.

Submitting a form does not create a moving, immigration, banking, tax or real estate contract. Any contract is between you and the third-party provider (or Sync International Moving for international moving services) and is governed by that provider's own terms.

The Site lists, links to and connects users with third parties (immigration consultants, banks, schools, real estate professionals, movers, tax advisors, etc.). The Company does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their services, advice, pricing, availability or outcomes. You are responsible for performing your own due diligence before engaging any provider.

All trademarks, logos, page layouts, country guides, written content and software on the Site (other than user content and third-party content) are owned by or licensed to the Company. You may not copy, scrape, republish or create derivative works without prior written permission, except for reasonable personal, non-commercial use.

The Site and all content, tools, estimates and provider information are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any provider connection made through the Site.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, employees and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

We may modify or discontinue the Site or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, except where mandatory local law applies. The competent courts of Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction.
